Does anybody have a 4 star touring training weekend running in the very near future ? I'm keen to take groups along the Thames and I'm led to believe my level 2 coach will not cover me in parts . Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone please point me in the direction of a 4 star touring training course in the next month or 2 . the only dates I can find are the 15th and 16th of July which I'm not able to make. I'm in the windsor area but willing to travel.

I'm looking to plan a weekend away after completing my 4 star open canoe training. I've paddled the river dee and the river eden.

I'm going through the motions of setting up my own company (h2oadventures) :) offering trips along rivers. Sessions for rehabilitation of drink/drug users . And anything inbetween. Could you recommend any companies that you have insurance with.

Thanks for all the advice . I've been working for centers for a quite low wage so I can get the experience and qualifications. My center is paying 60 a day as I'm only a level 1 . Level 2 assessment is at the end of April followed by 4 star leader awards. . I'm thrilled to have been offered the trip...

All the funding is corporate so nothing is taken from the charity. It was more a question of what's a good day rate etc

Thanks for all your advice. It's progression rather than perfection and my students are having fun :). Time to get my sessions planned ready for my level 2 assessment and having just passed my 3 star open canoe today I'm one happy paddler.

Thanks for the advice guys and aploogies for the late reply just finishing up the season at the outdoor centre I work at and getting ready for my level 1 instructors course which starts this Sunday :). Once that's all out the way I can get out and have some fun on the water .
