The work they propose to do to the wier looks like it will divert the vast majority of the flow through the scheme and away from the main event rapid.

Add this Facebook profile as a friend and post. Someone may be able to help- uni is just finishing. Also could try Dundee and Aberdeen Universities.

Re: Trip to Lake Garda -Help...

I took a busload of soldiers there five years ago - I will try to find my post trip report, which has loads of details for accommodation etc - PM me your email address and I will see...

Re: Urgent assistance needed Fort William

If you hired the original van through enterprise give me a bell on O seven nine 68919 three four five as I have some friendly contacts with them who I could speak to and perhaps sort something out. If not, out of interest - who did you hire from? also - if it is any help, I have locations in St Andr...

Re: Whats the weirdest thing you have seen whilst paddling

The weirdest sight I remember was that trib that flows into the start of the Glasgow Avon with all the cars in it. When we paddled it, it was a raging torrent of bright yellow toxic water, flowing round dumped and mangled Ford Escorts requiring some nimble slalom moves. Does anyone remember what th...

Re: wheresthewater.com

This seems to have happened - there is now no in date data being fed through to wheresthewater.com You can however find the river here: http://www.sepa.org.uk/water/river_levels/river_level_data.aspx and compare it to the level indicators on wheresthewater to figure out the level. For example the Er...
