Kayaking Tshirts

The time has come and I really need to get myself some new t-shirts.
And ideas or suggestions where to look so I can get some canoeing and kayak related ones.
Thanks

Re: River Derwent

I have the pleasure of holidaying next week at Matlock and as it happens I have two lovely playboats for my daughter and I that I am going to bring with us. The problem is that we have only done sea and coastal river kayaking so have never needed helmets. I think it would be irresponsible of me to ...

No not fallen out with anyone but their attitude towards paddlers has become somewhat negative. They do not want anybody accessing the river there for an onwards journey.

Campsite in Teesdale

Does anybody know of a paddler friendly campsite in Teesdale that is good for groups and allows open fires. Following on from our usual yearly event we are looking to relocate to a more paddler friendly campsite.

Re: River Trent Source to sea

I have done from Alrewas down to Newark at various times. It's a good trip but needs a fast touring boat rather than a WW boat if you are kayaking, or an open canoe would be good. There are a couple of bits of white water, but nothing that can't be done in open boats. Below Newark the tidal stuff g...

River Trent Source to sea

Has anybody paddled the River Trent source to Sea? It's a trip me and my pal fancy doing next year camping along the way. Has anybody done this? Any blogs to read? Cheers.

I have a Typhoon Multisport 4 and it is really good but for half the price take a look at Lomo.

Tbh I don't remember seeing anyone taking the sort of pix you are talking about this year. Personally I thought this year was fairly quiet in terms of the numbers of people on the water - especially on the Saturday. Bet you're glad there's no photographic evidence Glenn ;-) Sent from my SM-T813 usi...

Try out the Machno too, sort of middle ground between the two. Great boat, very forgiving and so much fun to paddle.

Me and most of my paddling buddies use the typhoon multisport 4, nobody complains. I think it's a pretty good suit for the money.

What's your pre paddle breakfast?

Before a paddle I generally have porridge with a good dollop of honey in there, I had run out this morning so didn't bother and seriously lacked energy so obviously makes a big difference.

River Levels so low, what's everybody doing

So we are having a bit of a dry winter, seem to be spending most of my time on concrete ditches or flat water touring runs. Hopefully some water in Scotland for easter but not holding our much hope.

What's everyone been doing to get their fix?

Favourite old school playboat

Old school is cool as we all know, what's your favourite old school boat? I have a Dagger Super Ego and it always leaves a big smile on my face when I paddle her? Seriously would love an old riot boat.

Re: New Pyranha Machno

I have recently got a Pyranha Machno and think it is a very fun boat. Here's some of my thoughts so far... Slower than the Pyranha 9R or Zet Toro (my previous boat) or Jk Zen (another old love), very similar to the Waka Tuna, but the outfitting is much better. The new Stout 2 outfitting really locks...

Where's going to be good to paddle this weekend?

Rain came and went this week, looks like most levels have dropped, where's going to be still good for a grade 3 or 4 paddle this weekend? Northern England or North Wales areas. I think treweryn is not releasing.
