Re: Diveria and other Piemonte rivers.

Thank you for linking those other guides, the Divaria is however the catchment between the Dèvero and Bogna (see map). It appears to have a good boulder run between the Swiss border and the hydro 6km down stream. From what you can see on google street view it also looks pretty good although the pict...

Re: Diveria and other Piemonte rivers.

Hi Simon, the Dèvero looks pretty good however I was hoping someone had information on the Diveria in the next valley to the south. Google earth shows really promising rock features and the Gert Spilker guide speaks highly of it but I'm pretty sure their release information is well out of date. Have...

Diveria and other Piemonte rivers.

Does anyone have any up to date information on rivers outside of Val Sesia? The Gerd Spilker guidebook has loads but the information seems pretty out of date. It seems that there was releases on the Diveria 10 years ago or so. Is that still the case?

Forgot paddles at the Orchy.

Left paddles at the Orchy.

I have done something monumentally stupid and left my paddles at the Orchy get off (witches step). If anyone is there tomorrow could you keep an eye out for them? No number on them but they are red powerhouses with a bit of blue electrical tape on them.

Re: Infinity Wezzit

Yeah thats it, really fun run! In classic tichino style its in a pretty commiting gorge but has some quality rapids. The first third of the crux is a portage but with a bit of imagination you can launch in an run the rest of it. Yo wouldn't want too much water!

Re: Infinity Wezzit

That looks like the main rapid on the badacro but with a lot more water than when I paddled it! The rest of the run must have been pretty fun too at that level if thats what it is.

Re: Infinity Wezzit

Gonna go with chissela (or how ever you spell it) cos we spent a day with a stick gauging the river there trying to get the perfect level. Bought several ice creams from the shop on river left too. Well worth the wait though as it was a class section after we got past the initial cos!

Time's up, it the Gråura Gorge section of the Driva near Oppdal! The closest guess in terms of distance is Banzer's guess of the Jori.
