I know there is not much water about. And can understand why the posts have gone at tangent. So back to the question. Do you keep filming is... YES! Just so that you post it on UKRGB and show what tits your mates are.... who you have probably been paddling with for a decade or two. Yes keep filming ...

Breathing. Through a drop. If I don't breath. I tense up. Teath are clenched. Paddle comes out of the water. Waiting to be hit by the water. Usually resulting in a swim. If I Breathe. And yes I have to say that out loud to remind my self. The inhale and exhale link up with forward paddling. There is...

I use that gauge to plan a trip to the Seiont from the Midlands. I think it's been playing up for a while. Anyways. Now that it is fixed. Hopefully anther opportunity to run it will arise shortly. This Sunday would be fantastic :)

Re: Bl**dy Rolling

Head is the problem.
When I remember to continue to look at the paddle. Rolling is easy. When I forget. Usually when in higher grd of water. That's when the roll stalls. Because the head comes out first.

Concentrate on the current water. (tough to do for me.) but when it works. It's as sweet as ripe peach on a summer's day.

Looking at the positives. He rolled up in hole. Came up fighting. It's there after he is struggled to maintain upright. At 0.25 onwards his deck has collapsed. The boat is taking in water. I think he would have got away with it. If the deck had not popped. Regards safety. Could only see one person o...

Stopped going to CIWW. (within the group)
Trip 1, broken paddle
Trip 2, broken tooth
Trip 3, scrapped knuckles against the concrete
Didn't think it was worth risking a 4th trip
Like LV though. Event free so far. Touch wood..

Re: What do you do with your car keys.

:) lose them.
Sometimes leave them at the get in.
Occasionally drop them in the River.
So for me the solution was to use the old fashione solid key on a simple key ring, hooked in to my BA.

Re: How to? Increase the thickness of a paddle shaft

Tried to figure out the difference between standard and thin shaft. It turns out to be 3mm.. It's amazing how much 3mm increase in diameter makes to the feel of a shaft. Have managed to tape it up using a combination of gaffer and insulation tape. Doesn't look very tidy. Most difficult bit was to tr...

How to? Increase the thickness of a paddle shaft

I have a light weight carbon slalom paddle with a thin shaft.
Been using it on using it ww. It works fine except, I find the shaft is too small for my hand.
Is there a simple way to increase its diameter...in and around the grip area.
