Re: If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

I've done my fair share of beer booties and can't say I've ever felt peer pressured into doing one, if anything it turns a negative experience (swimming) into a positive/funny one (drinking a beer!).

Each it their own though.

Re: Paisley Freight & TNT

I've actually had a boat refused collection from Paisley Freight/TNT because although the boat was packaged up, it wasn't in a solid card board box.

Re: Paisley Freight packaging

Someone bought a boat off me and sorted shipping with Paisley Freight.

I wrapped the boat fully as per the instructions and then TNT actually arrived to collect it and refused to take it as it wasn't in a box.

The guy did get a refund and ended coming to pick it up himself in the end!!

Re: Beginner kayaker

I learnt pretty much everything I know in a MK2 Burn. Only sold it towards the end of last year due to having eaten too many pies and now paddle a Zet Director as my proper river boat. I have had a Dagger G-Force 6.3 which definitely taught me a lot due to the slicey nature but by the time i got thi...

Re: Paisley Freight

Yep it's a sneaky trick with them! As long as you package it up in cardboard as well it's fine. I've had a boat rejected before because it was just in a couple of bin bags. Other than that they're a good service, and to be fair to them they gave me a full refund on my order for the boat so it wasn'...

FS: Pyranha Burn Medium 2010

Hi Selling my 2010 medium Pyranha Burn. Bought originally in August 2011. Has been paddled extensively at CIWW, South Wales and North Wales as well as on a trip to Scotland. Time to sell up due to me having packed on a few too many pounds and with me and full kit it just doesn't handle as well as it...

FOUND: Werner Paddles @ CIWW on Friday 16th August

Hi Was about to leave CIWW on Friday after the 10 cumec session and almost drove over a set of Werner paddles that had been left in the car park in front of my car. I'm down at CIWW quite regularly being local to Cardiff if you want to get your paddles back! Drop me a message to arrange. Thanks, Adam

Re: FS: Dagger G-Force 6.3

Forgot to mention, living in South Wales to view/collect, and i usually spend a day or two a week down in the Exeter area so could bring it down there if necessary.

Thanks,

FS: Dagger G-Force 6.3

Hi, Dagger G-Force 6.3 for sale. Looking for £300 including airbags and happy feet. The boat has only ever been used at CIWW so has the usual scuffs and scratches but no deep scrapes or dents. Would make a perfect play boat for a beginner as it did for me, or for a more advanced paddler looking for ...
