Re: desperately need a PFD & drysuit for a big guy
I have a palm cascade suit in xxl (red) genuinely only used once - not even by me I'm too tall for it at 6'6+ but my mate who used it is 6'2" and very big build (rugby player) and fitted him fine . £160 posted

I also came across this on saturday afternoon . from my many experiances of this rapid the river right channel is extremely well known by locals for hiding trees. Re: Moving JK Super Hero seat?
Hi I have the same size legs and feet as you . Although I don't own a superhero I have paddled one a fair bit . I find moving the seat back massively improves performance in it as well as increases the foot room . i guess you've already done this but removing any foam pads of the footrests and the f...

Re: Watershoes Recommendations - Teva / 5.10 / etc...
Only small 'dap' style shoes . or cheap neo boots like palm granite's or typhoons version (terrible grip ) .. Im currently using teva's nilch shoe . its extremely low profile so offers almost no cushioning but grip is fantastic ! . They came from escape watersports but I don't think they have any of...

Re: Watershoes Recommendations - Teva / 5.10 / etc...
I couldn't recommend the teva gnarkosi's highly enough ... I bought mine for kayaking but at uk 13 they were too bulky to fit in my boat so Ive been using them every day on a building site for a year and they are still holding up really well ! .. excellent grip too , the best shoes I've ever had for...

Re: Stupidly big feet and drysuits
I find that having big feet and long legs really limit what shoes I can use and still fit in a kayak the more difficult option . I currently paddle the big boy jackson boats (villain and karma) as these seem to be the only boats I can fit any kind of footwear in . Although I have a set of canyoneer'...

Re: Stupidly big feet and drysuits
Hi . I am/was also in this position . I solved the issue by buying the palm spark suit , which doesn't have socks , and just team them with some neoprene socks inside my teva daps when its very cold out . I'm also surprised at how well the suit is lasting compared to my (many) previous experiences w...

Warning! challenging surf-newbie boat question
Hi .I have a possibly tough to answer challenge for you guys :) I've been getting out in the surf a lot (after a pretty long gap away) , mainly due to the lack of WW in wales this year , and fancy something a bit faster on the wave than my current playboats- JK monstar and axiom 9.0. Does anyone hap...

Re: Jackson super hero spray deck size ?
I use a play boater pro-team standard-big deck on a large karma, superhero, monster and villain . it's never popped and stay's super dry .. Never had to use the bung or a sponge in the boats (when they aren't split for a change) and it is tight for the first time to put on . but fine after that ... ab...

Re: Yes, but did you catch that eddy?
I would class myself as a eddy hopping paddler . not because I want to constantly stop all the way down but more because I HATE getting out of my boat when I'm in it, so would rather eddy hop and look at rapids in sections, then get out and have a look . I'm also a pretty regular paddler at the tryw...

Re: What Paddles?
Another set of blades to throw in the mix are the Core Kirri's on an Easton Aluminium shaft. I bought a set from Rapid Kayaks. I use 30 degree feather on a 197 shaft. Brilliant blades, in my opinion, with a carbon blade for strength, and a hollow core blade for buoyancy. Have a look at the Core Pad...
