Re: A great kayaking helmet- just to put it out there...:)

I have also explained how with different materials with a higher stress level the shell will not be deformed from a standard hit, for example the materials in A WHITEWATER KAYAK HELMET!! If you read about helm...

Re: A great kayaking helmet- just to put it out there...:)

Personally I noticed the holes are way to small to fit a stick or let alone branch in?! Also, you'll notice the sweet stuttering that kayaker use, is just the overpriced version of the mountain bike helmet that has an adjustable visor... Mountain bike helmets are completely rigid.. They have to be t...

Re: Best Skullcap for kayaking!?

The only negative i would say is that the strap can give a little strap burn, but i wear a neckerchief around my neck to prevent this :) Havin...

Re: WANTED COURSE: instructor training/leadership

hi there,

Cheers for the info! thats cleared a few things up! I think i'd be looking to primarily lead on whitewater, rather than coach. So i'l look into the UKCC level 2 coaching award. How much does all this cost? the UKCC award and the 4*?

cheers,
