Thinking of getting a backup/spare waveski. I'm 6ft, 80 Kgs with an inside leg length of about 33 ins. I'm in Kent but willing to travel, especially if it can include a day's surfing.

Re: Waveski sizing advice
I don't think moving the foot loops that far back is an option, you need to have your feet in the recesses to create a comfortable angle between feet and lower legs. If you are happy to experiment, etc., another option might be to build up the front of the recesses (so your heels aren't so far forwa...

So long as the pad sits within the 'seat pan', i would have thought it will be alright, an...

Pro designs Waveski
Selling my Pro Designs waveski. It was made for me 3 years ago. Length is 7' 10" Width is 25". It is suitable for somebody with an inside leg measurement of 30/32". It has several 'lumps and bumps' which i do not consider serious (nothing has broken the skin), but i would prefer people to view the s...

Werner Side Kick Crank shaft paddle (current length 189 cms)
I am selling my Werner Side Kick paddle with carbon crank shaft. Current length, tip to tip, is 189 cms. They are right handed with a 45 degree feather. I would say they are in good used condition with usual marks and scratches. The left hand blade has three small chips on the edges. If somebody wis...

Re: Which video camera, GoPro, Contour, etc, ??
i can recommend the SJCam SJ4000. I've had mine for getting on for a year and had no problems. You can get one off eBay for under £60 incl p & p. As far as i am concerned its equally as good if not better than my mates gopro but a helluva lot cheaper, but no good if you are an 'equipment snob'.

software for editing gopro footage
can anybody recommend software for editing gopro footage? I am a bit of a numpty when it comes to modern technology so the more user friendly, the better. I particularly want to crop and 'blow up' snapshots but keep the sharpness. At the moment i use 'media player', but cropping and blowing up makes...

Re: Repairing an Atlantic waveski
It's not really answering your question, but i would suggest the effort required would not be worth it.
I had a 'hollow' Atlantic waveski from new and had problems with leaks, etc from the start.
It's a personal opinion, but get yourself a decent waveski - Pro Designs or Jemski.

Re: Protecting Paddle Edges??
electricians tape (colour to match your paddle) 'stretched' around the edge helps prevent minor knocks.
