It does seem to be that they dont make them any more. As to why I have no idea as I love mine, better than anything else Ive ever tried including the likes of Astral and 5:10.

Re: Isle of Wight Ferries...

Go on Red Funnel instead, they are not money grabbing miserable gits like Wightlink. Personally I think RF run a better service too as they usually seem to run on time and if they are late that actually try to make up the time (unlike Wightlink who dont seam to care if they are late). Also they tend...

Re: Which waterproofer?

Interesting; Ive used Fabsil Gold for tents and the like and its been really good but I always thought it would fill all the pores on a breathable material and stop it being breathable.

Which waterproofer?

Just wondering what people use to maintain/re-proof their breathable kayaking kit (cags, drysuits etc)?

Ive been using Nikwax TX.Direct wash in proofer but it doesnt seem to last long.

Boat was found by Holne bridge where someone had rescued it and put it on the side but the tape and carabiner were not attached. Its very unlikely t...

Bala Mill Falls possible hazard

A friend of mine broke his paddles going down Bala Mill Falls on Saturday. Its possible but unlikely that one blade and part of the shaft is jammed in a rock on the main line down the falls somewhere. We looked but couldnt see it so just be aware its a possible hazard. The paddles were 2 month old W...

Re: Watershoes Recommendations - Teva / 5.10 / etc...

I have a pair of Teva Cherry Bomb 2 and they are great. Comfortable, seriously robust but also nicely flexible, not too bulky (size 10 and they still fit in a play boat) and the grip is phenomenal!
