Re: Knife Rope or Nothing

I can understand why workers don't want to wear a hats while working on the roof. However- from a site management point of view, if a roofer doesn't wear the hat while working on the roof, maybe thats ok, but the minute they come down from the roof and walk through the rest of the site, the chances ...

The very first UBKC Xtreme Sports Film Festival

Last night we had the very first University of Birmingham Xtreme Sports Film Festival. It's a chance for budding cameramen, editors and general sportsy people to showcase their work, which often doesn't get the recognition it deserves! Massive thanks to Lomo, for their kind donation of 5 dry bags, a...

Re: North East Kayaks +1

you're right in a way cp. one should expect a high level of standard, and, had the problems not been sorted out, i might be on here venting. but they were. and as rdscott said, so many people rant about poor service/quality, that there needs to be some kind of positives. i'm sure there's a thread so...

Re: France 2014

i reckon its the way around- an alpine grade 3 in france etc may seem a lot harder than british. perhaps this is simply because the volume is greater and the consequences of a swim are often worse. as for times- good levels to be had in june. all the uni groups are out there at that time, often in L...

Re: Flying / Driving to Europe

I got back yesterday morning from a 2 week trip around the Alps, we started in Bourg-Sainte-Maurice, headed to Aosta, through to Switzerland, up to the Engadine Valley, and then into Prutz>Landeck>Oetz Valley. We paddled an extraordinary amount of rivers, we clocked around 3000 miles for each car. W...

head to a shop and try them on. even if you then buy it off the internet, at least then you've tried it on!

the shoulders should be adjustable? try tightening the straps?
