Hi all Just to advance the topic. Picked up a white keyhole deck from nookie...perfect fit on both the phantom and banshee...However to big for my zenith. 66guinny99 you didn't get back to me with the question of price so nookie had the cash. Thanks for the replies. Back Strand That's a shame. I wo...

Re: Nookie Surf Skirt

Sorry, haven't been back on here for a while. I can obviously answer the price bit but I don't know about it fitting the Phantom. I would be inclined to take Denzil's word for it

I'm struggling with this comment, unless you meant from socks & sandals, in which case I would be forced to agree. :)

Re: Excuses for swimming :)

How about these? I did not swim. I got out of my boat in deep water to see what would happen. I did not swim. I was just seeing what it would be like if you needed to swim. I'm just emptying my boat. These are excuses I hear when surfing all the time. I think I've heard at least one of those, and p...

Re: Fluid Kayaks, UK dealers?

As I understand it, production is now being shifted back to SA (hence the UK part of the site showing "out of stock" for most things). Tootega may have a few bits and pieces lying about but I think most outfitting was sent over as complete boat packages for the number of shells moulded. Definitely w...

I know there have been lots of previous threads about manufactures going in cycles of using cheese etc to construct their boats but which manufacturers currently have a really good reputation for their plastic? Please let's try to keep this to a positive thread, there have been enough threads slatin...

Thinking of selling a (new) Fluid Element

I've already put this up in the surf section but, as the Element is a bit of a crossover boat, I thought I'd put it here too... I've got a Fluid Element in green that is effectively new. It's been on the roof rack once but is unused. The only thing I've done is to cut the foam foot block to suit me....

Re: Gopro hero?

Why do people not go for the Contour Roam 3 so much cheaper, waterproof to 10 meters without special housing and has a slider switch so you know when it is on or off. The Gopro mists up all the time, makes you look like a teletubby and you never know if it is on or off. Can you get the Roam 3 for m...

To be fair, the self adhesive knee pad foam seems to be an issue everywhere. I've found one foam knee pad in the bottom of a boat that had not yet even seen the water.

I've got one but I'm up in the North West sorry. I like it. I've got the large and it's huge but, that having been said, it is pretty nimble and very quick. Outfitting is basic but I really like the simplicity of it. It is not a light boat for lifting but is reasonably comfortable to carry with a we...

Smelly helmet

Yes, I realise I'm leaving myself wide open here...
My previous helmet was a Gath Gedi with foam inserts. Gets wet, goes in the garage, comes out, no problem. Done the same thing with my Sweet Wanderer and it's starting to get a bit whiffy. What's the best way of dealing with this?

In a moment of insanity I decided to try this at the end... https://vimeo.com/89895481 First time in all my kit and anywhere except the pool....
