I first paddled the Sanna in 2011, and again in super brown conditions the year after. I've just return from Austria two weeks ago, and after spending a day running lapse on the Sanna, it has now become one of my all time favourite runs! Signing petition NOW!!!

Burly level in that vid! Seems to be a theme this week. I got detained in a similar size hole last night on my local run. The gods were smiling and it let me go after a while. What hole did you get worked in mate? Paddled the kent at a similar level to that vid. One of our group took a swim one too...

I do a bit of road and fell running, some rowing in the gym, push ups, stretches. Slow build up, if on a trip, just to get back in to it.

We flew to Cancun with Virgin Atlantic and spent a few days driving up to Veracruz along the gulf of Mexico. They were great and didn't charge us for our boats!

The Esk was running a little lower than some of your vids and pictures but it was still tricky and a lot of fun, worth the walk anyway!
