Re: GoPro Timelapse

If you can get hold of Quicktime Pro, you can load the images and play them back as a video file.

Can be a good touch to add to video or for making sunrise/set and cloud movment shots.

Re: Companies that rock

P&H / Pyranha rock!

Had some issues with foot pegs popping off in a sea boat that was bought second hand.
Emailed them to see if upgrades were available and was sent a much stiffer set FOC.

Awesome customer service :D

Re: AT2 Flexi broken :(

I bought a pair of broken Flexi's , they had snapped just above the left crank (towards middle). Bit of carbon and epoxy and they are working again (1river run and 2 pool rolling sessions), The pair i got, had a couple of thin spots in the layup along the mold line, however around the snap it seemed...

Re: WTD Dagger Gt Max

I paddle a GTX and id be about your weight and find it a very good fit, still require a good bit of padding out, not me the boat lol. See if you can get a run in GTX, im not sure how detrimental to its performance it is being used at its upper weight limit, but mine is stable, responsive and easy to...

Re: DIY leg lifters? dead leg

I think i may have found the source of my problem. I rigged up some leg lifters similar to those on the Perception + some stretches and they definately helped but didnt cure things. Id usually paddle in a drysuit or farmer john wetsuit (lomo) + cag, but this weekend we were on an inland flat water t...

Re: Lendal Blade removal issue

Splitting was an option via Padlock, but they wont sell the switch or vari lock seperately due to the shaft needing to be accurately machined.

Didnt go the split route as id prefer to keep a WW paddle one piece. Did order a padlock fitting to convert a sea paddle to a split though.

Re: DIY leg lifters? dead leg

Thanks for the info. I honestly think its something to do with my heel resting on the hull as it gets sore before my leg starts to go? Could probably do with more flexibility, day job is probably 50/50 walking/seated and never stretched before paddling, will give it a go this evening and see if it h...

Re: Lendal Blade removal issue

Seems cutting it out is the only option to remove it, Very very well set. I could have re-attached the blade with stronger glue and tried again but then i could be left with the whole lot stuck! Ended up grinding in a new chamfer to allow the blade to fit and give me the correct feather, This took a...

DIY leg lifters? dead leg

Hello Really struggling with a dead right leg after 20mins paddling. Changed from Aquanaut club to a Scorpio and its definately more comfortable but leg is still going after a short while. Looked at the seat in a Perception Essence and it seems very supportive and adjustable. Has anyone retrofitted ...

Re: Dimensions of a Silva 70p?

Hi Mike,

Thats great thanks very much :D, Ive CAD here so ill draw it out and have access to a waterjet cutter to make it :D

I was tempted to mount it to the Fwd hatch cover but i was worried it might move, is the aligment with the centerline on the boat important?
