Re: The Nith, SW Scotland - River Obstruction

Its the narrow last bit about 150 yards after Pour Over.

Its been called that for ever as long as we've paddled it.

Maybe see you at the Halloween Paddle, Harvey?

Levels were very low today and we couldn't run the main line (had to scrape round on far river right). It was very visible today, but if the levels a...

Re: Women specific spray decks???

My husband & I have both had Lomo Neodecks for about 3 years. Both are still water tight and the extra abrasive bit around the front edge is wearing well. As far as female specific decks - I can't see them making any difference as the velcro adjustable twin waist of your drysuit / drycag should be w...

There is also a decent sized root-ball sitting on the pour-over with its trunk (approx 20ft) pointing directly downstream.

Can't recommend any repairers, as I won't stay anywhere near you, but, I'd recommend searching Youtube for videos of how to repair it yourself. New Tree down on the Girvan

We came across a new tree down on The Girvan on Saturday. It's about 1/4 mile upstream of the Cloncaird Wave. It's fallen from river right and is currently a portage. Not sure if the next spate may pivot it on its roots (but this would leave the line on the left dropping into a large stopper. Safe P...
