Zambezi advice

Heading out to the Zambezi in Sept and looking for a bit of advice. I was out there many years ago when all the outfitters were in Victoria falls and folk just rocked up and ran the river with the daily raft trip or got logistical help from the rafting companies if they wanted a bit of a quieter tim...

Re: Wanted Perception Blaze 7.3

Out of curiosity why have 650 people look at this thread and make no offer of a Blaze 7.3 that they have for sale when the title of the thread quite clearly tells you what I'm looking for without opening the thread????

Still looking if one has recently been found lurking at the back of a boat shed somewhere.
Also consider a Dagger Redline.

Re: Grumpy Farmer at Wnion!

The Farmer in the white van at the layby at the top near the put in is a massive pain in the arse and must live his life looking out of his window looking for boaters to moan at. He is the land owner of the banks at the top part of the river and I believe also owns the fishing rights. a couple of ye...

Re: Austria in June

Aktiv Camping in Prutz is very cenral to most of the paddling in the Tirol area. It is quite a family oriented campsite so might not be ideally suited to a large uni group but is ideally situated and if you're not too rowdy would be a good option. It is right on the banks of The River Inn at the tak...

Re: Thuli Bheri - Logistics

If you have the time and no other plans then carry on from devistal to Chisipani on The Karnali. Buses from here towards kathmandu are very regular. This will take an extra three days and although as a white water river it is tame (nothing above grade 3) it is a wonderful remote and beautiful river ...

Re: Where to go in Europe for white water in July?????

I know you said you're looking for somewhere different but we usually go to Austria at the beginning of July and levels (depending on that years snow pack and temperatures) are usually prime at that time. However also look into The Dora Baltea , Aosta and upper Rhine areas. All in the new south alps...

There's a slice on ebay at the moment and they do appear periodically on there.
Also a couple of dominatrixs.
Just keep an eye out on there and maybe ask on one of the used kayak group son FB as well.

Watershed absolutely the best on the market but you pay for that. Alpkit are good value but as with all light weight dry bags double up to be absolutely sure.

Re: Tuna or Burn?

I recently sold my tuna. I desperately wanted to get on with it but sadly didn't. It's great when upright, fast, responsive, rides over things and keeps you dry, carves into and out of eddies brilliantly but when off balance it is so top heavy it's incredibly difficult to get back upright and I foun...
