Re: Best deck for a Shiva

I've just picked up an IR Kling-On for my burn, which is what they suggest for Pyranha boats because of the deck shape and bolt positioning.

I haven't had it out yet but if its anything like the other IR kit I have I'll not be disappointed.

Re: Paddle grip?

I've tried a few types of tape. I first used standard hockey tape which gave great grip but tore my hands apart. I'm currently using the rubber tape you can get for hockey sticks, I've only been using this for a few weeks and found that it is a bit slippy when wet but its soft and textured so I stil...

Thanks for the feedback, these are all good sugestions.

The project is design based so that covers re-design to solve existing problens or a completely new idea.

I've taken my play boat onto the trian before. The train staff didn't mind. I put into the bike storage racks so it wasn't in the way.

What Playboat?

I currently paddle an old sub 7 one ball but I want something which has more pop and bounce. At the moment I can cartwheel on flat water ok but am unable to get the boat to bounce and on the river it acts more like a squirt boat, it just sinks the nose, because of my weight. I am 11.5 stone but am o...

I've heard that the Burns thigh braces deform when put under alot of strain.

I’ve just heard this but I’m not too sure how true this is or if Pyranha have sorted it.

I too am looking for a similar style of boat but found the medium Burn too big (sort legs).
