Re: RIVER TEIGN (A382 Bridge to Steps Bridge)

The EA Gauge at Clifford Bridge was at around the 0.65m – 0.68m marker, which was about 2-3 inches below the stepping stones mention at ...

Dan

Have you tried Kent Canoes, they are based in Wrotham and would be able to help to help with the Jackson's....

Or you could try Brookbank, they are two minutes from the Lee Valley Site

Re: Skirt repair

Any sailing shop should sell it, or trying a surfing/diving shop....

To be honest you'd probably get it cheaper in E-bay than from a shop but it would be worth checking out before hand.

Best of luck with the repair

Re: Anyone running an 8 hour first aid in the SE soon?

Try St Johns Ambulance. They do not offer a 8 hour course but a 16 hour one. More than required by the BCU, but well worth it for your own peice of mind. Try the link below to locate a course http://www.sja.org.uk/sja/default.aspx Otherwise I have alreay searched for one close to Sevenoaks http://ww...

Hello All I'm looking at investing in a new WW Kayak Helmet and looking for people's opinions and thoughts. The two helmets that I've been looking at are the Sweet Rocker FC or the Shred Ready Standard FC. With such a vast price difference my wallet is saying go for the Standard, but i really like t...

GREAT STOUR - RIVER LEVELS

Hello All A few of us paddled the Stour on Sunday and with all the rain and snow melt we had on Saturday the river was at a really good level. Judging the level on Sunday and the level today (06/12/10) I would say that the optimum levels would be from 0.59 to 0.80 at Horton weir. At these levels the...

Old L3 (KAYAK) Assesment before 31/12/2010

Hello

I'm putting some feeders out, to see if anyone is planning on running a old Level 3 (KAYAK) Inland Assement any time soon or at the beginning of the 2010/2011 sesson.

I've been told that the BCU will not be taking any assesments after 31/12/2010, is this true?

Thanks for looking
