As long as they are local, I don’t think surfing or kayaking isn’t allowed under the current guidelines.
But define local. If they did, it would be easier...

Re: Why is it wind over tide?
New sea ice is salty, old sea ice isn't. Sea water leeches the salt away over time. Subsequently the water just under the ice is super saturated and more dence than the rest of the sea, so it sinks. Sea ice doesn’t contain salt, or not much. The reason the salinity under the ice increases is becaus...

Re: Why is it wind over tide?
It’s actually density.
Which is a function of salinity and temperature.

Dagger Stratos 14s green. £400 Devon/Cornwall border
Dagger Stratos 14s, well used but still sound. £400 Ono or would consider trade for something more crossovery like a fusion/ethos or katana.
Tavistock. Could potentially deliver in Devon/Cornwall area.

Not many option for shelter on that bit of coast. Try inside the harbour at bude, mid to high tide for a bit of shelter.

Re: River Dart - Dartmeet to New Bridge - the 'Upper Dart'
There is a new pay and display system at Holne Bridge. It costs £2, bring your change. If you can afford to spend £1000s on drysuits and plastics boats and shiny paddles and money on fuel driving down the A38, you can afford £2 to park. They have reduced the size of the car park from what it was 10...

Sweet did have a uk sales/service rep in port talbot. I dealt with them a while back when some mtb shorts failed.
They were really helpful but my initial point of contact was the main sweet support line from their website.

Re: grade 2/3 rivers
the really nice Grade 2 section of the Walkham from grenofen bridge to the slot drop can easily be hiked back up. its about 2km with an easy track on river right. alternatively, Denham bridge get out from the Tavy is about 3-4km (with a big hill) in a straight line from Grenofen bridge. Its not the ...

Re: Dagger Axiom Sizing Advice
at 85kg I found the 8.5 a little too low volume. very tail happy and a pretty wet ride on harder water.
i sold it and bought a mamba 8.1 but could never get on with it.
I picked up bargian 9.0 earlier in the year. not paddled it much yet but it is a much bigger boat.

Are all the monitors down by the sewage works? I've walked along through the river in town before and it's smelt quite special and that's a mile or so upstream of the treatment plant?
