Hopefully the waste of money that was the UKCC has now been consigned to the scrap heap.
Ah there's the old attitude back :)

Of course star/performance awards never were UKCC. And the new coach awards are still UKCC.

I did speak to Rob of Where's the Water but his site has a few bugs and he's not got back to me about fixing them so I guess he's out of time for coding on it currently.

SCA Where's the Water Now Updatable

I have rewritten the SCA Where's the Water website code. It should look just the same as before but with the useful addition that we can now edit the calibrations and add new river gauges. http://canoescotland.org/where-go/wheres-water So we now need suggestions for new gauges to add. Great to see them consulting rather than just announcing. No there's no dates set as yet nor decisions on retraining but it says they want to expand the providers so it's probably not going to be much faff. The main change is splitting the 2 start to be single discipline which is much needed. I'm a ...

Re: Stand Up Paddle Boarding advice please.

I am assuming a Level 1 and 2 coach (canoe & kayak) can coach SUP and everyone will be covered by the BCU insurance Perkins Slade. Is this correct? Any BCU member is covered by the liability insurance at all times for any canoeing activity. You want to ask if this is within the Terms of Reference o...
