Frosterly bridge about half way through the run their is a fallen tree right across the river and can't be negotiated you come on to it very quick we had to pull decks and get out quick and portage also the broken weir 2/3rds down left of centre arch a large gate pinned and needs to ran to the right...

The annoying thing is its in the tree line done that section a 3 or 4 times this year and as the trees thicken you don't see it until right on top of it

i guess it depends on how often i can get out only been out twice this year ( young family ) if i can get a mojo going ,then it all goes to pot guarenteed magnetic rocks seem to be my downfall next one will be a swim but i don't give a shit !

It has a regular pool session every wednesday night if that helps .this weekend running the kent always keen to take on new paddlers at any level .will

I did until i heard about the incident at penrith done the tees racecourse section came in buzzin was nice level great weather and as soon as i walked in the house i caught the news then was all deflaited hoping it was'nt serious ..sad news

Found a live sheep not to long ago it had slipped down the embankment a rescue was called for to bleat another and it was freezing cold ( lucky sheep )

I was bidding on these last year and your right they do look nice you may have just wet my appetite for another look i think they were selling for about £ 90 quid at the time ,and no i did'nt win ....looking now ( not telling the wife though )
