Stretchs, stretchs, stretchs... I had played rugby for 20+ years before sea kayaking and my body is stiff as nails. Stretching helps loads

Thanks guys for all your advice. i do believe that it is a few of teh reasons above and not any of the boats. I,m retiring after a long rugby career and don't think i am very nimble yet, i am very tense and do have an un explainable fear of falling in as i am a good swimmer and not fearful of water....

Hi, thanks in lieu for any advice. This is the second year in which i have tried to learn sea kayaking and again this year i am suffering really badly with my legs going dead to an extent they are painful. I am big but not the biggest sea kayaker 6'3 and about 17.5 st. I have tried several big boats...
