Re: Alps 2nd to 9th June

Cool. Valsesia is on the list but I think levels will be better in France by June. Staying in van so have options to move about and change plans last minute.

Pop me an email at luke@brighton-canoes.co.uk as we can exchange some more details. Always good to paddle with new people.

Alps 2nd to 9th June

Going to be touring around the Alps first week in June. Hoping to get some paddling in if I can find some groups to link up with.

Paddled in Briancon/Guil/Ubaye area loads of times. Quite keen to paddle Valsesia if anyone about then.

Austria Paddling - Late August

Anyone paddling out in Switzerland/Austria in late August?

Out there last 2 weeks of August for family holiday staying right on banks of the Inn. Be criminal not to sneak the boat on the roof and get in 2 or 3 days paddling.

Hoping to link up with any groups that might be about at that time.

Re: French Alps River Levels

Some of our group cut out and removed 1 x river wide tree from Briancon gorge yesterday. There is still a tree down shortly before the narrow section as you pass down under the bridge but its not river wide and is sneakable. Also still a branch across the entrance to the slide at the barrage which w...

Palm Ion Bibs - Small

Got a pair of Palm Ion Bibs in Small. Used for weekend by my wife on canoeing trip I dragged her on. Like brand new.

Cost £250 new. On eBay for stupidly low price at present. Bidding ends tomorrow.

Re: British Columbia Paddling Trip

We are able to be completely flexible with regards to time of year. I guess paddling in warm would be nicer so June to August would be best. Don't have that long only 10 days as have family & won't get away with more that. Luckily with Friend at Virgin Airlines can get flights dirt cheap. With limit...

Re: Found: Paddles and karabiner with sling - Upper Dart

Thanks. Sling and crab are mine.

If they can be dropped into either the Dart Shop or Kayaks & Paddles shop that would be great.

Thanks again,

Luke

Re: Surf next weekend 17/18 OCT Gower Peninsula?

Arrrhhh! Gower Waveeeessssss......lovely. In my experience I have always (without exception) found the waves there to be very wet and on occasion white & foamy. What else would you need to know?!

Have a good time Joe, lets hope that Peak Cag stands the test of time (and gower waves).
