For the video's and quick snapshots whilst still in my boat, I have a Canon D10 which does the job perfectly, takes excellent quality photos and the filming capabilities are not the best but at 30fps & 640p it does the job perfectly for youtube/vimeo videos. Going with Banzer, it does look similar to the 3rd slab on the dart.. but hard to tell because the photos evidently ancient and taken by a very, very old camera.

I use a space hopper, their great. Inflate to suit you as to how much volume you want. Good thing about it is that its volume is evenly distributed.
Got mine for about £5 from Amazon.

Yes Ollie but whos ran them, the top one goes but you need lots of safety cover to stop you going down the second one wouldnt look to good on a film. One that alot of people don't know about/don't mention is the Canon Powershot D10. 10 metres waterproof, 1 metre shock proof, 12.1MP. Takes brilliant photos outside of paddling, works incredibly well for landscape photography although it will never compete with modern SLR's. Takes good quality video...

I have the same problem at euthanasia falls, upper dart. Nearly every time I run it, I forget where the lip is and miss my boof :( Euthanasia would be a good place to practice.
