Kayaks on trains in Norway

Hi

Looking to get from Oslo to Soja/Otta on 12th July with my kayak - Any body got any experience with them on the trains? Or Busses?

Anyone going that way at that time with space?

I am probably flying into Oslo Rygge

Cheers,

Graham

Calling people going to Nepal this season - can you help?

Hello there, I have started a gear re-distribution scheme and we have some stuff that needs to be taken out to Nepal and given to GRG Adventure in KTM who are distributing it to up-and-coming youths out there that will make good use of the kit. We have a bag of gear at (very near to!) The Tryweryn t...

Re: New Pyranha Creeker

Had a quick look at one the last week. Blog here Can't tell a huge amount from just a quick paddle on the flat but it did seem quite fast for the size. The boat I tried was a S/M which was a bit small for me - I would go for the M/L. Certainly look forward to giving one a good thrashing on some whit...

Nice to see this up here! EPIC / Near death experience are missing from the list....at least they always seemed to feature in our trips! All expeditions should also have some element of suffering and a group hug for bonding purposes. http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/581303_101004428014...

I have an Everest for sale for £580. It has never needed a repair. Not seen much use at all in the last few years and it is in very good nic. The boat is in East Horsley, Surrey. Thanks James and all his team for another great event. Looking forward to next year already.

Did anybody find a pair of Letman cranks with a union jack on the shaft? They will have been left in the mini bus or the car park. I am sat at dover contemplating the Wellerbrücke without a paddle at the mo.

What a choice I saw the Greenland footage at Sickline and it was really really good and would love to watch it again but then I am a bit bias! I would be really keen to see Russia and Sumatra - Sumatra probably taking it as its as more original. Sickline footage would be good but I reckon a 5 minute...

Re: Sutlej river in india

Hi Roo2, I paddled down from Rampur in mid September back in 2005. It was a great trip. Remember that huge grade 5, some nice rapids, bits of flat and quite ‘jungle’ like in parts. We took camping kit but found a guest house with hot baths. I think it took us 2 days from Rampur to a place where the ...
