Re: First Dry Suit - HELP
I have to disagree with everyone bad mouthing the Lomo suit, had mike for a good 3 seasons and its been fantastic, also had some of the tapes peeling away from inside the suit when it was outside the warranty period and this was fixed for free. The suit is warm and very comfortable considering it ha...

There is however a new felled tree just before the final fork before the bala mill falls take out which stretches across the whole river apart from a little gap around 5 foot wide on the right hand side of the river.

Re: Fixing decks
I had a hole in my old deck about the size of a 5p piece and I used a little bit of spare neoprene from some roof rack straps and plugged the gap with that and glued it in with stormsure and this was about 3 years ago and is still going strong. Hope that helps.

Re: Sweet Rockers with contrasting visors....why?
I would assume that its because they have broken/snapped off the original visor which Im pretty sure is the same colour and just replaced it with any one they can get their hands on.

Re: Kayaking is not a Crime - T shirts, Hoodies, Stickers!
Sounds great but I just have a quick question, if you just fancied for example one of the large stickers that would cost £1.75 it is still £5 postage or is that just for the t-shirts/hoodies.

Re: Multi - Sport Helmet
Personally I would want to use the same helmet for all of those activities. Mainly because the way I see it, and I know some people may differ, but if I took a big hit with a cycling helmet because of its design I would change it without hesitation but my current paddling helmet has taken a few fair...

Re: Jackson Star series
If you are 6'1 you'd be hard pushed getting into a medium molan, I'm the same height and could only get in with no foot block at all and honestly it wasn't even bearable, feet went dead within a minute just sat in the shop, and you'd probably be forced to have the seat right back compromising the ov...

Re: How often should a kayaking helmet be replaced?
Surely it is not only about a timescale for changing your helmet, what I would say, and used when I rode downhill a lot, was the comfort factor, as in would you feel comfortable taking a big hit with that lid on, does it give you confidence that it will work without fail, because you more than anyon...

Re: Decks for a riot?
You'll probably need a Riot deck, I know that Peak do them not sure about others. Riot have their own deck size and Im pretty sure that they are the only ones that will fit. If I were you I'd grab a Peak one and I would not try keyhole ones either I from experience that was also too big.

Re: Rafting restrictions law proposed by fishermen rejected
I quite like this quote "The result is that people tend to say away - people like me who could be paying into the local economy." because surely the "raft highway" is just empty rafts floating down stream with absolutely no occupiers who could contribute to the local economy ;).

Re: Cameras and conflict
I seem to remember a thread like this a while ago and if I recall they said pretty much the same thing in that once a camera, be it a head cam or hand held, the confrontation would stop, I guess people as as been said do tend to think twice once they can see that their actions will have consequences...
