Hi, I have a large Burn for sale due to no longer having the storage space needed for it. Its in reasonable condition and is the original model. Its been paddled on flat and white water for the last few years and has suitable wear and tear with one slightly deeper scratch but is still solid and has ...

Re: RIVER MEDWAY (Tonbridge to Allington)

Hi, Just to confirm that is was definitely East Lock tho we couldnt find anything on an inspection of the main slide of the pass itself. most boats had the same thing as Andy described on the bottom of the boat on the right. Was a real pity as apart from that it was a great day out, not often you ge...

Connect 30 foam foot plate

Hi, I recently discovered the foam block that used to be glued to my footplate has disappeared. As im off to france for a few weeks i'd like to replace it. Had a quick check of the online retailers but didnt see anything immediately obvious. If someone has a block that would fit a large burn and is ...

Re: Any Clubs planning on booking time at Lee Valley this w/

When i spoke to staff yesterday they mentioned that you had to book the course for exclusive use and that the rafters were booked in for most of the hours the centre was open already. You may need to move quickly to get a spot. Also, there was a comment that the course was able to take 20 kayakers a...

Re: 2 Star syllabus

A different question but again on the point of 2* syllabus, on the assessor notes it says a prerequiste is being in 2 local competitions or having completed 2x2 hour trips. I have come across some L2 coaches who insist that the trips should be supervised by an L2 or higher and others who take it on ...

I have only heard good things about the customer service as well. For the price its probably one of the ...

I was up at the weekend, when i look at cost of fuel, eating, drinking, camping and general expense of a weekend away £6 to park at CT is a fraction of my total cost so i really dont see a problem, even if you were local and werent boating im sure you'd find £3 going on lunch or another activity rel...

Roly,

Re: Best deck for Burn/Everest?

Joe, If you want a really dry deck then the new rand style decks are fantastic. However, if you have a large burn you will probably struggle to get the palm rand deck on. Medium and small burns do not suffer as badly apparently. I ended up swapping my ripped up palm rand for the pyranha angry fish d...

Our country water activty bod wont allow L1's to take out groups bigger than 5:1 ratio on sheltered inland water and ther must be a least 1 L2 coach in the group if we want...
