Re: Dagger Stratos Stern Perception Logo Missing

Here is a bit of info about who owns what. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confluence_Outdoor
I often use spares from one company for another companies boats as, not surprisingly they have many parts in common.
In the UK some of those brands are "controlled" by Palm and some by Gaybo.

Re: Dry Suits - Sea Paddling

I have the Peak Adventure with the shoulder entry and find it works really well. very comfortable and the peak material is very hard wearing. Yes I get a wee bit damp just around the neck but its worth it. great value for money and Peak have a great repair service in the UK.

Re: Valley Sirona 16.1 RM - fit?

The Etain 17.5RM and Sirona 16.1 RM are supposed to be the same fit and I have found that is the case. I find the 16.1Rm stable and very manoeuverable.
It is a slightly bigger fit than the Atlantic RM.

Re: North Shore Atlantic rm vs Valley Etain 17.7 rm

Yes the Etain 17.5 Rm has a bit more room than the Atlantic RM . Enough to make all the difference to the comfort as I am 90kg and 6 ft The 17.7 is quite a lot bigger. Sea Kayak Oban usually have the Atlantic & Etain 17 in stock so if you are in that part of the UK you can always sit in them both to...

What ever you get for the sea I would make sure it has a skeg or rudder to help when you have any wind at all . The perception expression has one and the carolina doesnt. The new Wavesport Hydra may well suit your size and it comes from the same factory as the Perception.

I think it may be a bit small, but definitely worth a try both for fit and also in some lumpy water to see if the handling suits you.

es of course it is. If I have a garden with my house and I want charge folks to come sit in it or walk through it, I can. If you ain't paying, you ain't sitting. That may work in some countries where there is a lot of government owned land but in the UK where the vast majority is privately owned it...

mean that you think its legitimate to charge people for walking across the land? or am I misreading this or taking it out of context?
