Re: River Orchy gauge

Sorry, perhaps I didnt make it clear, the gauge is reading -0.366, as in MINUS 0.366, as in below "0". As the lowest ever recorded level on the Orchy is apparently 0.045, having a reading below zero now seems unlikely!

River Orchy gauge

Hi, Not sure how long its been like this, but the Orchy gauge on the SEPA & Wheres the Water site seems to be malfunctioning; currently quoting it is "EMPTY" at "-0.366" on the gauge. Unless something magical is happpening in this section of Scotland where the river has suddenly started flowing the ...

Wavesport EZ For Sale

Hello! After several years of happy paddling, ive upgraded to a Dagger Mamba and can no longer justify the space my old Wavesport EZ takes up in the shed. It is yellow / orange, and probably 2004 ish (though will have to double check with registration docs). She has been well loved and well used, an...

Re: Wanted: Drysuit (Ladies?)

Thanks Hector, I think I'll probaby be too tall for the SM - its quoted as having a max. height of 5'8, so although I may just be able to fit in, it sounds like it may be a little snug. I'm going to try and head to a shop to see whats on offer / sizes etc, but not sure when I'll be able to get round...

Wanted: Drysuit (Ladies?)

Hi, I'm looking to replace my tired and worn out Sidewinder + Dry trousers combo with a Drysuit. I'm female, around 5'10, and size 10-12. I'm looking for something in the lower end of the price range for drysuits (£250-350) - am I likely to get anything worth while for this price? Ive thought about ...

I agree with the point that safety is becoming an ever increasing concern, and there will always be a debate regarding the apparent safety/lack of safety with any trip concerned. However, without being there, it is impossible for one to comment on a series of photos taken from such a distance. As on...
