No, it definitely didn't rise through the day. I glanced at the upstream edge of the ledge (http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/foru ... 23#p538823) but maybe 3" was a bit generous.

Re: Teign or Tavy for the weekend ... ?

Cheers for the info guys. We guessed both would be too low so went for the Dart ... hopefully we'll get to run them when there is some rain about.

Teign or Tavy for the weekend ... ?

Hi all, Anyone know if the Teign or Tavy are likely to go tomorrow (or any other alternatives!)? Not sure how the EA river level gauges (http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/riverlevels/120723.aspx?stationId=3214 and http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/ri...

Re: RIVER TEIGN (North and South Teign Confluence to A382)

Does anyone know what the EA gauge at Clifford Bridge (http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/riverlevels/120723.aspx?stationId=3214) would read for this section to become paddle-able? The guide section recommends all the stepping stones at the get in need to be covered, any idea...

Re: Dart Levels - Now with added Twitter!

Dart pretty much held, lapping the downstream end of the slab at 2pm and didn't drop much. Solid 2 hour heavy shower in the afternoon too so it won't be dropping off in a hurry.

Level still held this afternoon (lowish/medium) for a nice run. A fair amount of water on the moor as well so shouldnt drop off too quick.
