Pyranha 9R Medium

Pyranha 9R Medium C4S Outfitting Based in North Wales Usual Scrapes, I only really paddled her for 6 months or so before getting my hands on a 9R Large and have spent most of my time in that or my Zone since then. Re: Rolling course - what should I focus on for last 2 sessi

Looks good so far, Here are my thoughts for you. 1. Boost your seat up so the top of hips are in line with the top of the cockpit, or get in a smaller boat or both, you look a little lost in it. 2. Get your head as close to your left knee as possible during the setup. 3. Its a body movement not an a...

Re: 9R questions

Not totally related, but sort of relevant, Have a look at https://www.facebook.com/Aquabatics.Calgary for this weekend's Toby Creek Race images and in particular, a 9R being superbly out manoeuvred form behind by a 'legend' in a Nomad during the Boater X. Classic Not really relevant, how about a lo...

Re: Second grade 5 on the Conwy

To be fair it is fairly low in that video, high water it is easy to be pushed down the next rapid after quite a pasting with little to no bank support, on more that one occasion this has been the catalyst of near misses and worse. GRADE 5 Extremely difficult rapids with precise and technically deman...

Pretty much, the big logs are still in the water, but not in the narrow bit, hopefully with water the'll pass downstream. You can see them in the 4th picture.

Pyranha Everest £400

Im selling my Pyranha Everest, yellow grey white. £400

It has all the usual scratches and a slightly upturned bow but that doesn't affect how it paddles.

Pics available on request.

Re: help with paddle please

Get in touch with Rick at Fire it up, he's the importer of Select paddles in the UK. Great guy and he'll sort you out a demo set and help you find the right blade for you, and for your £250 you'll end up with an amazing custom paddle to suit you.

Re: Strongest Airbags

Keeping the boats clean will help the airbags (and peoples kit) in better condition for longer, all those little bits of grit, stone and general junk kills them. I have a Pyranha bow bag I acquired over 5 years ago and it wasn't new then it's still going strong. Ive never had one of the Pyranha ster...

I agree, It is impossible to catch a fish after a kayaks passed, it defiantly ruins the fishing for the rest of the day. (p.s watch the video before biting)

Re: you paddled a Burn & a Nomad? what are your thoughts

Just to make your life harder, if you like the style of paddling the Burn the Nomad is completely different. It sounds like the Everest may be the right choice, a little narrower and a little quicker than the L Burn without really being a bigger boat. But it keeps a similar style of paddling to the ...
