Moray Firth Basking Shark

On 30/09/06 we spotted a single Basking Shark near to Sandend in the Moray Firth. It was approx 5 metres long and was actively feeding. We were surprised to see one on the east coast. Hi, We were staying in Arisaig and saw the Northern Lights at 22:00 hrs – dancing over the Sleat Penninsula. A band of green on the horizon with ‘searchlights’ appearing and fading.
