The person who had borrowed it swam on in the last hole on the grade four section of the lower part of the etive. It was seen floating away so it is some were down stream of that point.
Any help you could offer would be great.
Thanks

what rivers?

Hey. This actually has nothing to do with kayaking but as we all hang around rivers quite a lot, and seem to have a good knowledge of them, I was wondering if any one could help. For my dissertation I am investigating if hard rock rivers are more resilient than soft rock rivers. In order to do this ...

It may not be exactially what you are looking for but Eastwood and East kilbride canoe club (based in the south side of the city about 8 miles from the city center) is open to most sorts of paddlers. The club has quite a few people who do canoe “touring”, as well as a few who do martion. If you are ...

no the issues should not affect kayakers. The few water sport users for this area will have been told what is going on and when and where will be safe to use. If planning to paddle the forth in the next week to ten days (and have not been told any thing) it is best to check with the harbour/ locals ...

Speaking as someone who knows the water that you are talking about and what the safety cover is like I would say no more than 1:8 as if the wind picks up in that place it is a real struggle to beginners to get to any of the banks. And the safety cover is not always in the right place (i.e. you or th...

I agree with dave and would strongly recomend FASIC, down at the plesance . They should be able to tell you how long if any time to have off sports and when to re-introduce other sports as well as giving you movent things to do. well that is what they did for me.
