Depending what's growing on it, it may have been in a garden before blowing into the river.

Re: Chile trip cancelled, no refund.......?

People submitting KS videos don't generally use tour operators. You'd have to find out what Chilean law says about this (& remember that he is just as capable of seeing this discussion)

Re: Used kayak price guide

Totally random, very old boats on eBay seem to go for far more than a kayaker would pay for them.

It probably wasn't more than recommended retail price, just more than someone else was prepared to sell it for.

Re: Rainchasers - app.alling decision

Basically it will stop working anyway when EA / NRW update how they supply their data & due to the way it was set up it isn't a quick fix, whilst the app has been designed to cover all the mistakes made when setting up the original website.

Re: River Frome - Woolverton to Freshbrook

The weir above Iford also has an Archimedes screw that takes most of the water. Fish pass at right side is too narrow for a kayak, but slot down centre does run. Suggested take out at freshford has private property : keep out signs all around field, the alternative river left above bridge is quite s...

Re: River Frome - Woolverton to Freshbrook

Lullington weir has been changed again, so do inspect, but easily portaged. Landowner at A36 bridge (Woolverton put in) asked that paddlers phone them beforehand to let them know, as they had a nasty incident where horse was scared by kayaks a few years ago. No problem crossing their field (downstre...
