Sea skim drysuits in Leeds will do it, also try Scottish mountain Gear as they are a certified Goretex repair centre. LSR in Burnley or Bolton? might do it as well

I sell it, £1 a metre for 10mm and 80p for.8mm, the 8mm is similar to the weasel rope, 10mm a thicker version, not with a white core

Re: Campsite in Teesdale

There used to be a slalom at the campsite down stream from Middleton, can't remember the name though. I managed to launch from there and paddle down last year around this time, they made a huge fuss, called the landowner downstream to get "permission" fish blah blah... Went to paddle a few weeks bac...

I have used the same Pro Rand since 2012. It's still dry and in great condition, the best on the market in my opinion! You will need a 1.7

I went to landeck end of august last year and there was plenty of water. Sanna, inn, swiss inn all had water. We also went over to the noce in italy too. The upper rhine, flimms gorge went, even though the gauge said empty and the luctine nr eider all went, so you just have to be a bit more selectiv...

Info in the 2004 book is still relevent enough in terms of rivers and get in's/outs. There are some changes to rivers such as a big dam being built above finstermunch (not sure I've spelt that correctly!) and there are various changes to certain rivers like the Sanna, which don't effect it's ability...

Re: Recommendations for new club paddles?

A lot more to choose from since we bought ours! Those Ainsworths look good and not too heavy. A werner Player comes in at 978g and the Ainsworth 1150g, the Rios 1070 and the TNP Rapa 1050. When I picked the Rapa I felt weight was an important factor - as I explained above. I doubt those weights are ...

We went alloy shafts, as they are stronger, but if we were to buy some more I would consider glass. Depends how much bashing around you expect them to take I guess. Maybe next time I would go glass. I had a member struggling with their paddling a while ago, they were using a really old paddle (palm ...
