Re: When where who?

The first plastic boat into the UK was I think the Perception Mirage. I think imported by Jim Hargreaves. I don't have a year though?

When where who?

Does anybody have any idea... When, where and who the first person to make glass fibre kayaks was? When, where and who was the first person to make plastic kayaks? When where and who was the first person to bring plastic kayaks into the UK? When where and who was the first person to make throw bags?

Re: twitter river updates??

Ok no worries I've been posting but not checked to see if it was appearing. Let me know if/when you fix it and I'll start posting again. It's a shame more people aren't posting as it could work really well if they were.

cheers

Re: Levels in the Conwy Area 9-10th June

What Daz says. Although it's now been raining lightly on and off most of the morning, the forecast is for more rain this afternoon more on Friday but a dryer day Saturday. If the Llugwy comes up enough to be worth getting on I'll post it on my Twitter feed which should also show here: http://www.ukr...

As always check the twitter feed on here or my twitter feed if there is anything in the Llugwy or any other river I'm passing I'll post. It's a shame more people don't as it only takes a minute and can be done from your mobile. Looks like the surf might be quite good at the weekend.

Looking at what is in the rivers right now (not a lot) and the forcast for the next few days I don't think there will be much in the way of water at the weekend. If there is any water about near me I'll post it on the twitter feed on this site. The Tryweyn or Dee look like being your best bet.
