Is this the section that has the new get-out at a country hotel? Apologies if this shouldn't be for discussion - feel free to delete after replying! :)

Thermals

I'm after some thermals for under my drysuit, and just wanted some input as to the best ones to go for. Ideally I'd like to be able to use them for sailing, under my foul weather gear (yacht sailing rather than dinght, but should be able to have one set of thermals for all)

Waterproof A4 document box

I'm searching for a watertight A4 box which is capable of holding a few sheets of A4 and a couple of smaller notebooks. So far, all I've come across are fabric map case style solutions, and other oversized boxes.

Does anyone know of anything that may be suitable?

Thanks!

Pelicase and Camera Question

I have a Nikon D3000 with the standard kit lense. I also have a Tamron 70-200mm lense. I want to buy a Pelicase with the minimum requirements of fitting the camera and 70-200mm lense, however it'd be nice to have one large enough to fit the camera and both lenses - is this feasible without it being ...

Paddle Couriers

Have just bought (hopefully) some paddles and would rather not do a 120 mile round trip to pick them up. Am I likely to get a courier to do this for less than the £15 it would cost me in fuel? Alternatively, does anyone on here regularly travel from South Derbyshire to Worcestershire/Birmingham/down...

I have one of these for sale. It's almost three years old, not been used on anything too scary or rocky - mainly a few Tryweryn trips and some surf.

Make me a sensible offer!

Re: Digital SLR - which one?

Thanks everyone for your help! I think I'm decided on the Nikon D3000 - it's the one I preferred in the shop the other day - just got sidetracked by all the talk or IS/VR etc! And thanks Mark for the link to crazycameras.co.uk - I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else! £360, and the Nikon have a £3...

Digital SLR - which one?

I want to buy a digital SLR, with a budget of around £400. I've done a little bit of research and chatting to a couple of people. Opinions seem quite different. One person tells me I shouldn't worry about image stabilisation being built into the camera, wheras one person tells me to definitely go fo...
