Re: Old Anas Acuta wanted Lake District

I have a restored 'bent tail' with new lines and hatches, plus working chimp pump. The hatches were fitted later. It's an early version in Amber deck and mustard yellow hull. Some restored damage but water tight.
Message me your email and I can send pictures. Looking to sell not swap.

Re: WANTED Anas Acuta

I have a 1970's one with 'bent tail'. Needs cosmetic attention but sound. Has front and back hatches, retro fitted, plus rear mounted pump like on an old Nordkapp. Not available for a few weeks but willing to sell when I get it in a reasonable condition. Not decided on price.

Dagger Reflection 16 FS

This is a Royalex boat in great nick. Not used enough so needs to make space. The hull is fairly pristine apart from one crease, not a split, which has been epoxy filled. Double thickness Easykeel skids are new. Solid foam buoyancy blocks. Seats have been refurbished and the third central seat works...

Re: River Dart - Buckfastleigh to Staverton

Looks like the gully upstream of the bridge at Staverton has been trashed with a digger to make egress/access there very difficult, plus two signs. People have used this point as a take out for forty years but the new owner, who bought from the church commissioners, is hostile to paddlers and won't ...

Tavy pollution?

I had a very constructive meeting with people at South West Water about pollution, particularly on the Tavy and Walkham. There is a long anecdotal history of paddlers becoming ill after paddling, particularly below Tavistock. Grey smelly discharges have been seen there, even at low water levels, tho...

Less than a year old, in fine nick, except for repaired damage to the back end. All straightened out and watertight but probably not for heavy rock hopping. Will suit coach or coastal cruising. Re: River Dart - Buckfastleigh to Staverton

I have been advised by the owner of the river bank that Dart Angling Association do not own the fishing rights of this bank (Riverford Bridge to Staverton Bridge, river left. Also he is not a member of DAA. His concern is one of liability for any possible injury when paddlers use this route to acces...

Re: River Dart - Buckfastleigh to Staverton

The take out at Staverton has become an issue. This relates to the minor stream bed upstream of the bridge on river left, which has been used to my personal knowledge by paddlers for over forty years. Dart Angling Assoc own the fishing and said some time back that they had no objections to access/eg...

No longer in production but this one bought 'new' and unused. Fitted for six months but now not needed. Foot pump quickly empties the boat after a re-entry and roll. Comes with stainless bolts and all fittings. Can be made fit to your leg length by backing with foam blocks. Pics available https://ww...

Tavy levels

Wanting to run a club trip on the Tavy but it looks pretty low, in spite of rain. At the moment it is between 0.9 and 1 metre at Tavistock.
All help appreciated.
