I was kind of thinking along the same lines - having previously owned a SR lid - never used the ear covers due to the fiddliness.

Yeah! I got it for a plastic one (Neutron HDP)!!! The chord and dry lip wont fit in the cockpit rim - and have had it too long for a refund (doh!)

Have you tried linking this to the main Inland forum - stacks more people looking in there. The thief looks like an outdoor type, and very probably local - if someone knows him they will instantly recognise him.

I had a 'blow out' today at Boscombe artificial reef - which resulted in a very long swim back to the beach.
This was a good work out, but I really didn't enjoy it very much!

Don't take play boats anywhere near whitewater - they are only designed for lakes.
