Re: HEBDEN WATER

Further to James' post, there is now a tree down after the Grade 3 section as well. It's imediately after a left hand bend and we had a slight panic on to get out in time.

Keep your eyes peeled folks.

Re: Making Videos from GoPro

Cheers Tom. Sounds like the kit I need.

I'll get that sorted tonight when I get home I think. Maybe cut the 3 gb film into a manageable and watchable snapshot.

Making Videos from GoPro

I've recently taken delivery of a GoPro to keep accont of a few trips, film friends and show off a little when the family come round for Christmas. Anyway, being useless at anything technical I've realised that after my trial run I have a hell of a lot of video without much action on it. What I'm af...

Anyway, I'm down on a course in Reading later this month and was looking to see if any companies did one on ones for maybe an hour just to go over my roll. Was thinki...

Re: Wavesport ZG 48

Hi Matt. Boat is still for sale at at the moment.I've had a little interest in it but not had any offer yet. I'm 5 ft 10 and my feet get a bit squashed and I'm high 11 stone. I don't think the boat would be too high but I can only go off the experience I've had in it. I have photo's available if you...

I must admit I do like mine. I've tried and tested a few other creekers and I never felt as comfy as I do in the Habitat. The seating position is spot on. It handles well and does everything I ask it to. The only thing it may have going against it is that the back end can some times grip a little bu...

Hi Johno

I'm goosed for the next few weeks s I've got so much on. September is the next time I'll probably be able to get out organising it up front.

I need to save for some new paddles first as well.

I'll keep in touch and we'll get something sorted soon.

I know the paddler in question well and can confirm that there was a typo in James' initial post and he was told he was too big for the boat. It is now our nemesis river!!!!!! Why? Stupid swim resulting in lost paddles (smacked elbow followed by catching them on a rock ripped them from my hands) Being caught in a tree (stupid decision on my behalf) this lead to 2 swims, very nearly lost splits and one boat. I saved them after a nice run ...
