Not that I am aware of. I always ‘Stock Up’ on them when I visit the United State or Canada.
You can order them and get them delivered here too, just remember, they are US Sized.

Have found that serrated blades snag on rope, particularly if not under high tension. Whereas a sharp plain blade has no jags to snag and, as a bonus, slices your cheese at the campsite better.

Weasel is only good for swimmer rescue. Get a Cored Rope for Boat Rescue. Palm 20m or HF Alpine are my favorites. At least 2 HWS Screw Gate Krabs, and make sure they are all the same. Pully. 2.4m sling and Krab 1.2m sling and Krab Palm Rescue Tape and palm Wiregate Krab Knife, Not Serrated. Get on a...

It depends on him really. I gave mine about 3-4 months. Basically until the start of the next winter season.

Re: Flying / Driving to Europe

Strongly consider the Chunnel when driving. It is much more flexible than the ferry. You can arrive up to 2hrs early and 24hrs late and be put on the next available train at no extra cost. Cheaper and quicker than the ferry if you have a van or minibus too. I did Briancon from W-s-M in 16hrs includi...

Re: Kayaks and oil canning

Oil Canning is caused by the stress induced into the hull from rubbing over rocks, so therefore has stress in the hull. Saying that though, it's not a huge problem unless there are sharp scratches in it too. Unless it's a playboat that is supposed to have a flat hull and then it won't perform as the...

Re: Reasonable 'warranty' claims?

I would say that a kayak that has been down a river without a paddler would not be covered under a warranty. Reason? I boat designed to carry a paddler of 85-105kg will be 300-340 litres, less a maximum of 2x12L and 2x35l airbags. This would equal a minimum of equates to 200kg when swamped, so doubl...

My 2.0L T5 BiTurbo does 35mpg at 130kph in Europe and 34mpg at 100kph in UK. Masses of power and it doesnt matter how loaded it is either. Usually it's 2 people, 3 boats, 2-4 bikes, camping kit and dog.

They are available. Contact your LKS for prices. Should be about £200-300 less than a new boat.

Pyranha will be on Christmas shutdown until at least Wednesday anyway.

There is only split bow or single bow bags, depending on if you have central foam or not. Highly recommended in all WW boats, especially Pyranha.

I do feel that Destination Stoores are the way forward, but until someone has the investment funds to have Bikes, Outdoor Kit and Kayaking Kit all under the same roof they are a long way off.

Saying that, I think that Ro-Ho and Up and Under are that way inclined.

I like the Nomad, Stomper and new Mamba. But what one person likes you may not.

Whatever you buy, you will need learn to how paddle it anyway as everything reacts differently.
