Facebook is the place for this type of info.
SWWK Market Place is probably one of the best groups to ask in.
Great stuff, thanks Rae - I'll jump on the wife's FB and take a look!

Re: Recommendations for WW courses / coaches in Scotland

Bruce Joliffe and Jonny Hawkins are both great paddlers/coaches and have dedicated many hours to voluntary roles. They are great guys who deserve paddler's custom. I can PM you contact details if needed. Amazing, thanks Mark! Apologies for the delay in responding - have just got to Inverness from t...

Recommendations for WW courses / coaches in Scotland

Hi! We're travelling around Scotland for 2 weeks this summer & the wife has granted me a kitchen pass to go paddling for the day! (its been a few years since I was last in a boat) I'm looking for a coach or group I can paddle a grade III with (I was a competent grade IV paddler) Any suggestions / re...

Re: For Sale: Liquid Logic CR250

Hehehe - no worries!

We'll get the country covered - If I'm contacted from someone in the south, I'll point them your way.

Not sure LL advertise it as snot green? you should "emerald" or ""freshly mown lawn (not in drought)". that said, they're not as catchy are they!

For Sale: Liquid Logic CR250

The time has come to finally sell my CR250 due to relocation. Usual bumps & scrapes, largely only used on Tryweryn & a few surrounding rivers. Smelly Helmet

Came across this link and wondered if it could be applied to our lids?

http://www.physorg.com/news194683221.html

Might help with deciding which knock is the one that results in a new helmet.

What do you guys think?

PS - I guess this wouldnt work if your helmet already has an odour...

Sea Paddling on East Anglian Coast?

Hi, My bro-in-law is over from Oz for the week & eager to get out for a cheeky sea paddle. He's based just outside Cambridge near Royston, so I guess the nearest accessible coastline would be Southwold round to the Wash? He's only in town for the week, so a midweek paddle would be ace, but I think h...

Re: Join a club or paddle with randoms

I paddle at FOACC and it is a top club. I chose them largely due to the fact that they are my closest club, but also because of the wide range of disciplines they provide, inc WW. The website is currently under construction, but the holding page with contact info can be seen here: http://www.friends...

Re: Companies that rock

Not sure if its been done before, but my vote goes for paddleworks in Llangollen - I bought a size small skull cap without realising and the gents there were most accommodating!

It was a shame I couldnt find something to take off their hands.

Thanks again guys.

Focus on keeping the paddle as close to the surface as possible. I stand in front of the boat and hold the blade on the surface of the water as they 'sweep'. I find it helps them get used to the position they need to be in & keep the pddle on the surface. If they are more confident, I'll get them to...
