Re: Tummel Dam Release

Here's a picture taken next to the outflow during a release (taken on the same day as Colin C's photo at the top). It wasn't anything like sitting below the Spean at full bore but it was quite impressive (and unnerving) getting your nose up close to that jet and wondering "what if?". Additionally, t...

Re: FS Bliss Stick Mystic

Sorry for the delay in getting pics, the snow's caused a fair bit of disruption the last couple of days. I'll have the boat back by Sunday, possibly Saturday and I'll put some pics up that night. With regards to posting, I've used Postvan a couple of times for around £50. I don't know if they still ...

FS Bliss Stick Mystic

Orange in colour and tough in manner. Buy my Mystic in time for the thaw. Has the usual scratches and a wee dent in the nose, apart from that, all is well. Can get photos if required. Its currently living under a friends house so immediate viewings may be awkward but we'll sort something out. Lookin...

Re: Looking for a DR Pintail XL

Nath, I probably won't be selling it, sorry mate. One whiff and my non-paddling/understanding fair maiden will have mugged me and spent the pennies in no time. Too risky in this climate!! Nick, I don't know much about the Spice but might be interested if I can't source a Pintail XL. Planning on runn...

Looking for a DR Pintail XL

As it says at the top really. Preferably I could swop it for my rarely used Bliss-stick Mystic as I've not really got the room for a second boat just now.

Might be interested in other bigger volume play/river runners but it's gotta float (properly) with 240lb + in it.

Cheers, Dan

FS: Kingpin 6.3

I've a Kingpin 6.3 up for sale. It's in great condition and only selling because I'm just not shedding enough weight to enjoy it anymore. Between myself and the previous owner it's been used a grand total of 8 times, so bar a few of the usual scratches it's as good as new. It's yellow, comes with fi...

FS: Kingpin 6.3

Barely used so in rather good condition. Comes with fins, over-thrusters and those pump up hips pads I've always been too big to use. Wish I could keep it but seeing as my bones seem to be getting heavier by the day, it's up for sale. Yours for £300 (or I'd maybe even swop for another boat) . I stay...

Inverlair Falls - how big is it exactly?

I'd never seen it before yesterday but read the write up on here afterwards and just wondered how big it actually is without any water going over? The write up says with 5 pipes it's possibly 80ft, but it can't have been more than 20-25ft with 6 pipes and over spill yesterday. Is that really enough ...

FS: VW Passat Estate (paddle wagon)

Dark blue, P Reg, 1.8l petrol, 120k miles, CD Player , tow bar & Taxed til April 07. There's a few scratches from boats and ratchets falling on it and there's a little surface rust here and there, so she's not the prettiest but mechanically she's sound. New bearings will be required and the tracking...

Yeah of course, I completey respect the fact some (hopefully more than that!) surgeons/doctors etc do take a personal approach to their patients and do their utmost to ensure their pre-injury lifestyle can be maintained post operation, but as mentioned, I am biased. 5 years of undiagnosed and untrea...
