Re: Dagger Mamba 8.5

To everyone who has contacted me I have not managed to get across to my friends to take a photo of the hull and boat yet, apologies, I will do it in the coming days.

Cheers,

Dagger Mamba 8.5

I have for sale a Dagger Mamba 8.5 that I bought a couple of years ago. Its been a good boat but I am going away to central America and need some funds for the trip. It has a crease in the hull which does not in anyway compromise the hull, details are explained in this thread http://www.ukriversguid...

Food Bargains

I stumbled across this website recently, it sells out of date food like pasta, cous cous, biscuits etc. If you are planning a long road trip or club trip, want to get stocked up and don't mind eating out of date dry goods then this place can save you a fortune. http://www.foodbargains.co.uk/index.ph...

That's pretty sound advice, a solid roll is also pretty handy as a swim down the course isn't too much fun, especially the first time.

Re: Lee Valley roll clinic is a damp squib

I would also imagine that there is very little coaching that can be achieved when someone is in moving water. It would be much easier to analyse and improve someones roll stood next to them on the lake, then give them some areas to work on next time they get on moving water.

Good luck.
That is a very big advantage if you are planning on going to LV regularly as travelling across London can take upwards of an hour. I live in the East end and roughly 15 miles (45 mins) from LV.

A dedicated lee valley kayakers Facebook page would be good so people could arrange lifts from the various directions to the centre or meet up to paddle.

Re: Are Kayakers 2nd Class Citizens at Lee Valley?

The coaching sessions on a Thursday are on the lake from 5-7 and the legacy course from 7-9pm and open to all abilities. I will certainly be making use of the extremely high level of coaching available and for £5 and hour including all kit an absolute bargain. The olympic course is raft free every d...
