Wanted waterproof mobile phone

I'm after a waterproof mobile phone. Old school with buttons would be great. It's just for emergency use on the sea whilst I'm ski paddling. Can anyone help? I'll just get a pay as you go sim. Thanks

We have never had a problem in France or Spain, in Italy you need a board with hatching and reflectors on it

North Wales/ Wirral

I'm moving to Chester and will be going out training on my ocean surf ski. Where is a good place to launch from? Somewhere fairly deep, especially so I don't have to walk a mile up the beach when the tide goes out.Ideally somewhere I can park close by would be great.
Any suggestions?

Re: race bibs

Imp do them
You can also google ski bibs as we have used the ski companies to make WWR bibs in the past.
Sizing is always an issue. Very stretchy Lycra is great. As the normal race bibs we use they are nylon with webbing straps and a buckle, very robust

Llangollen Town Falls

A question we have debated before...
How safe is town falls? We will have a wwr there in a few weeks and we would like to race over "the slab" but need to complete a risk assessment following talk about the slab moving, changing shape etc.
Anyone got any thoughts or comments?
Cheers

Re: Paddle Bag

I have 2 brasca split paddle bags, they are really good, close fitting with fill zip and carry strap. You can also try Jantex or one of the Australian surf ski makes like orca. If you are near Nottingham next weekend there is a regatta so there will be a few traders there.

Re: Numb legs in marathon K1

If you keep stretching your ham strings that will help.

The seat may need to be tilted further forwards to stop it digging in the back of your thighs where there are large veins.

Re: Transporting WWR's / Cheap V-Bars

WWR - Uprights and tie front down. The front tie down needs to be as vertical as possible, either to tow eye or make some ears (loop of 4mm rope tied through the engine mount and sticks out the side of the bonet) Having a smaller upright at the front helps to stop the boat lifting K1 - V bar k2/ sur...
