Re: Looking to tag along a group of paddlers driving out to the Alps or Norway
Hi Cameron. I've been thinking of a last minute trip for couple of weeks around the alps from around the 20th June to 12th ish of July. I was thinking of the Isere as it's on the to do list, followed by a few classic or other new runs. Perhaps followed by an epic drive over to the Soca (where I know...

Quite a bit of interest through PM but nothing concrete.
They'll be going on e-bay at the end of next week so shake a leg.

Re: For Sale Dagger & Pyranha Burn M
Toby,
I'm based near Manchester but would deliver at 20p mile each way (40p a mile rtn).
I'd be happy to meet a courier once payment was received, or i could get it to the Tryweryn sometime (then perhaps drive some further way at 40p/mile).
Mark.

For Sale Dagger & Pyranha Burn M
For Sale Dagger WW spec & Pyranha Burn M Dagger Redline: A good all round hull design allowing river running and surfing. The boat is quite fast in a straight line so is also suitable for flat water cruising. This example is mainly green with some multi-colour work. It has a full plate footrest, a r...

Hi, I have just collected my M Burn from Kayaks NW after they sent it to the Pyranha factory for a repair. It looks like a pretty bomber repair. I would part with her for £200. Blue and White. Can arrange photo's if required. Let me know by PM as i'm not on here that much these days.

Hi, I will buy your Nomad for £500 if it is as described, i.e. rarely used with no deep scratches or other major damage. Only problem is I am near Manchester. I am headed to North Wales this Weekend though so if you can get as far as say Bala or similar I could pick it up. Either Friday night or Sat...

When you are this lucky you should keep it to yourself instead of bragging. The chief reason being, whilst you're out boating, we'll be around trying to persuade your misses to elope! ;p Have a good one!

Re: Northern Norway
Some sweet footage there. It gives a sense of the remoteness of the location. You certainly new schooled a few of those falls. What was the dead thing floating in the eddy? Also I was waiting for the mandatory carnage section at the end and was a little disappointed. I guess you guys just don't make...

Re: An "alternative" river in the north alps that's running now?
The Upper Isel, around Virgen is likely to be running, but it isn't the kind of run I would consider doing alone. Class 4+ with an impressive fall. There's a play run just above Lienz which is probably a little tame for you then there's a very short section of 5+ between the two sections mentioned w...

Crash and Burn!
Finding these clips so entertaining I have failed to go out and buy beer on a friday night...so far anyway. Why is carnage so captivating? I think it's the attempt to put yourself in their position and learn from their very irregular situation. http://rideroftheyear.org/index.php?option=com_content&...

It would be useful to know which rivers to target on the river gauges pages. Thinking particularly for on the ...

Photo's of the slides look pretty sweet. How much rain had they taken to get into that condition?
Would they run frequently?
How far timewise are these from say Ft.Bill or another familiar base?

PYRENEES
I'm currently looking into paddling the Central Spanish Pyrenees at the end of April this year and have a few queries for those in the know. Questions: ROUTE from Dunkirk to Central Pyrenees. Best route south and over the mountains? Does the fastest route converge on a mountain pass? Is it wise to a...
