Tree on Troutbeck

paddled troutbeck today and There is a tree down in the final gorge near the end. Right at end of 1st rapid a tree has been blown over and in from the right bank
Blocking the entire river. Best to inspect from right bank from top of rapid to make your own call.

Large burn crack under seat, welded once split again further forward than original split. Make me an offer.

Having mislaid a boat on the irwell a few years ago, if the boat is not where you left it, it could be worth taking a trip down to Salford Quays as we collected ours from there, however the river was very swollen when we lost the boat.

Hi, a friend of mine is working in Bergan, he also says things are huge. We also go out in August but if water levels stay so high an aqua lung may be an additional option :)

i'm 6'4 size 10 feet, foot room is not a problem but i find it rides back heavy. I'm also carrying a few extra pounds (110kg's) also a palm extreme deck in with it.

River levels

Sorry Guy's and Gals,

I live in windermere and it is as dry as an arabs sandle up here, we are forcast moisture tonight but due to the temperature i suspect it will be white and fluffy, due more on fri but alas i would suggest getting you walking boots out and leave the boat in the garage.

Did the roeburn and hindburn today both very high at 1400 also looked at kent about 3 also high, rain patchy so not sure but think the sprint will be scrapable at the worst

Well i have had a good sporting paddle down the sprint today, not a rock visable on s'bend and at the bridge at the bottom the gravel banks were covered. reckon you have one more day before levels drop off as it has stopped raining here now (Windermere)
