Re: RE Play boat wanted

I have a Wavesport ZG 54 for sale. Maybe a little big, but it is easy to throw around thanks to slicy ends. being a little longer it's great for river running as well as playboating. Had loads of fun in it in Uganda. http://www.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/foru ... 0&t=105463

For Sale: Wavesport ZG 54 £280

I have decided to sell my ZG, seeing as I am no longer using it as much. It has the usual scratches, and excellent condition outfitting. I am able to throw in a Palm Extrem spray deck if I get the right price. Located in Aviemore, often over at the west, and east coast. Willing to courier and buyers...

Wavesport Habitat 74 for sale.

I've decided that I'm wanting to up-size my creeker from the Habitat, just out of preference, not because of the boat. Here are a few pictures: http://i.imgur.com/8ZcQth.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aCQ0Wh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ct3YVh.jpg As you can see the boat has been used, though not abused. I have o...

Re: Swap Wavesport Habitat 74 for Habitat 80/ Wanted Habitat

Giving this a bump. Still looking for a Habitat 80 (Or on the slim chance someone is selling one, a Zet Raptor) if anyone has one for sale? As soon as I find one the 74 will go up for sale.

Swap Wavesport Habitat 74 for Habitat 80/ Wanted Habitat 80

Back in January I ordered a habitat 80 from Brookbank, only to have them bring a habitat 74 to the Perth store. I took it out for a demo decided to buy it. Now I have changed my mind and would prefer the habitat 80 for the extra room. So... If there is anyone wanting to downsize their habitat please...

Rope issues on the Arkaig.

We paddled the the Arkaig today in rather high water (paddled down the road to get in). A short distance after the 'main event' rapid there were two thick ropes strung across the river that were rather unnoticeable and resulted in several issues; a swimmer badly hurt their neck getting trapped aroun...

Forgotten Werner Players - Roybridge

On Saturday (26/11/11) some numpty in our group (quite possibly me) managed to leave a set of werner player paddles at the get out for the Roy at Roybridge. They could either be on the bank upstream of the bridge or somewhere in the carpark. They are a set of club paddles (Aberdeen University Canoe ...

Re: RIVER NORTH ESK (Old Scout Camp to Edzell)

Paddled the river today, there were two metal cables (or rope, I'm not too sure) spanning the river just above Triple Step (Rocks of Solitude). One of these was quite close to the river, a potential hazard in higher water.

Wanted ZG 54/ Project 62/ Superstar/ tall person boat

I'm looking for a suitable playboat. I'm 6'3", and 77Kg looking for something nice and playful. I have a budget of around £350, but would prefer it to be around the £400 mark. I'm based it Aberdeen, but I'm able to travel a fair distance around Scotland - or if you are happy for me to arrange a cour...

We ran this fall about a week or so ago, the gauge was at around 0.61 - here's some footage of the run Clicky . Apologise for the swearing... We had heard stories about the pool being rather shallow, hence why Gregseh and Myself boofed it, resulting in some sore backs, Grahams run was very clean, an...

A pretty poor excuse for a snowman, and not boating related but we did build it in our friends bedroom at a party.

Re: Full Face Helmets

I bought a Sweet Rocker full face back in October, and have worn it a few times on the river. I really like it, but it does have its downsides as well. Pros The rocker hardly restricts your vision at all; I haven't noticed any change between the full face and my full cut rocker. If anything i find i...

I'll keep an eye out fro them, should be on the N'Esk on sunday and I've found St Andrews uni club paddles before, they have a tendancy to get stuck in eddies then be found in lower water.

Re: Dumfries... any good?

There is some stuff about, it's all fairly rain dependant, but I got a fair few runs done in Cumbria last summer. The Doon runs all summer (I think) and is an enjoyable run, not particularly challenging. If there's some rain about, I'd be up for paddling, and I live at Carlisle so you could hit me u...
