Craven paddlers?

Hi there,

Just wondered whether there were any Craven paddlers looking for a summer evening paddle? We're based in Gargrave.

Cheers,

Georgie and Kev

Hi guys... I thought I'd come in here and put everyone in their place as I have just received my very own copy of the updated Nealy Kayak book. Its lovely, very similar to the old one (can't tell exactly as my old copy is in the Uk and I am not), except the kayaker has a peak on her/his helmet and t...

Fluid Spice meets slippery rock creek, PA, USA.

Hi there, I've just got back from my first big river trip in the US. Went to the Slip in PA, which is a pool drop class 2/3 river with about 8 rapids, most crammed on the "mile". It was first time down for me and first time on a river for a while and to top all firsts off, it was the first time in m...

Paddle advice needed: replacing Robson Stud blades...

Hi I need to replace my Robson stud blades since I left them in the UK and I'm in the USA for the next two years and need to replace them fast! I love the Studs, the big blade was very powerful and felt they got me out of trouble. I'm now in the US so am looking at paddles easily available there and...

Why are their boats so different from the British style sea kayak? And I haven't worked out how I would bring them home yet either. Friends of ours headed out to live in Toronto this month and the cheapest quote to ship their sea kayaks out was over £1000...... May end up paddling them back...you'll...

Cheers Jim. I'm moving to Michigan for a couple of years next March and will be buying a couple of boats there. I wanted a plastic as I'd kill a glass boat too quickly, but I also wanted a boat with a similar shape to a glass sea kayak, as opposed to the touring boats. Hence thinking of the Current ...
