River Onny-information please?

Walked the Onny Trail near Craven Arms yesterday. With recent thunderstorms the river looked very pleasant but a little low for paddling. I cannot find any info about the river except a very old NRA document referring to conflict between fishing interests and paddlers. Is it a good paddle? Grade? Pu...

BC expects to have considered the responses to the consultation document and to be in touch with clubs again in about a week . If the upshot is that the scope of the BC cover for "Club Activities" is so restricted that Clubs look elsewhere for their 3rd part liability insurance the main reason for s...

Re: Karitek ELRR probably a common question

According to the karritek website Code EL1300-FK37-2 is for mounting on crossbars. so if you are buying this product you will need some sort ofo crosss bar system. The product for rail mounting seems to be 160 cm wide rather than 130 but would this be what you actually need? ( Can't specifically say...

Talk to an accountant. Your tax bill will increase noly if and so far as you make profits. Gross receipts do not equal profit. As well as obvious expenses such as fuel/phone/website you will write off capital items such as equipment over their expected lifetime. Marketing plan? Coaching/leadrship qu...

A roll could/might work with only you rolling but the chance of your fiancee having the confidnece to stay calm and let you do the roll in "real" conditions is very small unless she and you have practiced tihs first in benign conditions. Just doing "the calmer stuff for a few trips" is unlikely to m...

How old is "oldskool" in slalom? If you are still looking, my club has no background in slalom but has been given a nomad slalom boat ( model nknown) which needs completet re gel-coating having sat in a garden for several years . About 9 years old we think. Photos on request.

The Boat is now open for business again and paddlers are welcome to use the overflow car park whilst running the river. ..Please keep cars to a minimum and launch/land at the front door of the pub rather than by the overflow car park. The beer is excellent! So is the food!

Shrewsbury canoe club is selling this boat. Old but in good condition. Fitted pump. Would suit a taller paddler moving on from a stable first boat to something faster/more challenging £250 ONO. https://media.ukriversguidebook.co.uk/uploads/2094/1564308882746-9235.png https://media.ukriversguidebook....

I would be interested to know whet...
